Year 8 Girls SSV Basketball

A great result on Tuesday 20th of November with our Year 8 Girls Basketballers finishing third overall at the School Sport Victoria State Finals at MSAC.

The girls won two of their three pool games convincingly, and went toe-to-toe with the eventual winners on the competition in Templestowe College, with a Jas Hennig 3-pointer bringing us within two points of them late in the second half.

Game 1: CCS defeated Berwick SC 30-20 (Jas Hennig 12 points, Charlotte Ronchi 8)
Game 2: CCS def by Templestow 35-28 (Hennig 10, Ronchi 8)
Game 3: CCS def Mercy Regional 46-23 (Hennig 14, Abbi Boulter 12, Ronchi 11)

The girls were terrific on and off the court.
