Year 8 Boys Basketball – SSV State Champions

Our Year 8 Boys Basketball team played in the SSV State Finals on Monday 19th November. Finishing top of their pool the boys advanced to the final against Montmorency Secondary College where they emerged 25 to 38 victors to be crowned SSV State Champions!

CCS defeated Berwick SC 46 – 37 (Burgiel 15, Schuback, 14, Hrehoresen, 13)

CCS defeated by Lilydale HS 37 – 39 (Burgiel, 12, Hrehoresen, 8, Gravener, 6)

CCS defeated Warrnambool SC 46 – 18 (Hrehoresen, 16, Burgiel, 14)

Grand Final 

CCS defeated Montmorency SC 38 – 25 (Burgiel, 13, Hrehoresen, 10, Schuback, 7)

Team – Harry Gravener, Ryan Beale, Coby Burgiel, Jack Hrehoresen, Jonti Schuback, Lachlan Allman, Owen Gallagher and Nathan Nikolajew.
