Year 7 & 8 SSV State Netball

Year 7 Netball

Catholic College Sale has won the state title for Year Seven netball defeating Wodonga in the grand final on Friday.

The girls won their way through two regional rounds to qualify for the top eight and play off in the School Sport Netball state finals at Waverley.

Sale lost one game early in the day against Catholic College Wodonga  but ended up retaining top spot on percentage after a three way tie for top of the ladder in their pool.

Sale defeated Williamstown High School in the semi final then turned the tables on Wodonga with a convincing grand final win 14-27.

It was the Catholic College Sale’s second state title in three years, with the school also winning the year seven title in 2017.
