SSV Wellington Cross Country

On Tuesday June 5th, Catholic College Sale was represented by 45 students at the SSV Wellington Cross Country competition at Alberton West.

Students ran a 3km or 5km course depending on their age group.

CCS had some terrific results on the day, with the below students progressing on to the next round for their age category:

12-13 Boys: Wil Ross (3rd), Harvey Blake (5th), Zach Felsbourg (6th), Ben Hall (10th), Hamish Pfeil (12th), Jay Diamond (14th)

12-13 Girls: Lucy Jones (3rd), Zoe Turner (4th), Scarlett Morris (6th) and Zoe Stothers (14th)

14 Boys: Harry Gravener (1st), Owen Gallagher (6th), Seb Pendergast (11th), Jack Hrehoresen (13th) and Max Knobel (15th)

14 Girls: Grace O’Brien (2nd) and Payge Van Ekeren (5th)

15 Boys: Tom Wilms (6th)

15 Girls: Courtney McDonough (1st), Olivia Barnett (5th), Serrin Norris (6th), Jemma Stothers (8th) and Emily Cusack (9th)

16 Girls: Abi Allman (1st)

17-20 Boys: Tom Fleming (2nd), Brent McKenzie (7th), Aaron Broadbridge (10th)

17-20 Girls: Amy Mitchell (5th)

The second round of competition – the Gippsland Region finals – will be held at Lardner Park on Thursday June 14th.
