SSV Swimming

Catholic College Sale has had a great time in the pool of late, with 31 swimmers competing for the College at the recent SSV Gippsland Swimming Finals at Sale.

From this group, we have five swimmers heading off to SSV State Finals at the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre on April 24^th.

Congratulations to Zac Mezenberg who won through in the 12-13 Years Boys 50m Breaststroke, Butterfly & Freestyle events. Well done to Zac on such a great effort!

Also heading to Melbourne are our 15-16 Girls Medley Relay team of Kiana Wedlock, Payge Van Ekeren, Poppy Wheeler and Tamiecka Ross.

Kiana and Tamiecka will also represent the College in the 15 Years & 16 Years Girls 50m Butterfly respectively.

Overall, Catholic College Sale finished 4th in the Girls standings, and 5th in the Boys standings, resulting in the College placing 5th overall out of 24 schools.

This is following on from the 40 swimmers who qualified for the first round of SSV competition, held at the Traralgon Pool on March 8^th.

Impressively, CCS was able to field swimmers in most events that featured on the program.
