SSV State Cross Country

After some strong performances at the Wellington and Gippsland rounds, five students from Catholic College Sale qualified for the School Sport Victoria (SSV) State Cross Country finals. The College was well-represented with Grace O’Brien (Year 9), Courtney McDonough (Year 10), Harry Gravener (Year 9), Chris Dwyer (Year 7) and Cayden Johnson (Year 7) competing against the best in the state over a three kilometer course – with each registering some pleasing results.

Grace (26th) & Courtney (28th) placed in the top 30 in their age category, while Harry (42nd), Cayden (56th) and Chris (69th) also had some great results, especially when you consider these are results against the rest of the state.
