Year 7 & 8 Netball 

Our Year 7 & 8 Netball teams had a terrific day at the first round of School Sport Victoria competition. Played at GRSC, on Wednesday June 23^rd, our teams put in some wonderful performances on what was a cold, overcast day.  The girls competed against schools from around the Wellington division, with the results below:

All teams were fantastic across the day, both on and off the court. While our Year 8s narrowly missed out on progression, our Year 7 ‘A’ team will now progress to the SSV Gippsland Finals on August 6^th at Traralgon. The College will also have teams competing at the preliminary round of the Netball Victoria Schools Championships on July 28^th at Caulfield.

A big thank you to Jo Gieschen, Leah Leeson, Rachel Bown, Kirralee Carstairs, Kerrie Robbins and Maz Lappin for their support and coaching of these teams. Also to our student umpires; Charli Vernon, Ruby Fisher, Alyssa Light, Jasmine McPherson & Kaylah Komen, who were a fantastic help on the day, ensuring the day ran smoothly.
