SSV Gippsland Tennis

After winning through at Division level, three of the College’s Tennis teams braved the conditions in Traralgon on April 26th for a spot in the School Sport Victoria (SSV) State Tennis Finals.

7 Girls: Matilda Pendergast, Zoe Condon, Ava Brickley & Cara Heskey
8 Boys: Mitch McQuillen, Hamish Pfeil, James Edney, Jono Boyd
9/10 Girls: Jaz Websdale, Emily Elliot, Ellie Roache & Eve Morcom

Players adapted well to the tricky weather conditions, with all three teams placing either first or second in their age category.

While our Year 8 Boys came runners-up, both our Year 7 Girls and 9/10 Girls teams were crowned Gippsland Champions and will compete at SSV State Finals on May 24th (9/10 Girls) and November 22nd (7 Girls).
