SSV Cricket – Year 7

Our Year 7 Cricket team played Round Two of SSV Cricket on Thursday 11th of October.

Batting first, the boys made a solid 130 from their 20 overs.
Jos Dimarco top scored with 54 off 42, and was supported well by captain Jay Diamond, who had 23 off 21 deliveries.
Waltley Sutton, Jack Kelly, Oakley Pearson and Coby Bronts also contributed to the total.

The team followed up with a terrific bowling effort, with Oakley Pearson (1/10), Charlie Fry (1/2) , Tyson Dobson (2/1) and Zach Felsburg (1/0) all taking wickets. Cooper Lett & Ryan Phelan also kept things tight with the ball, bowling Kurnai out for 29, giving us victory by 101 runs.

The boys now join the Year 8 team in progressing to the SSV Gippsland Cricket Finals in Traralgon on November 1^st.
