SSV Cricket Gippsland Finals – Year 8

Our Year 8 Boys Cricketers fell just short of progressing to the State Quarter Finals, after losing to Marist-Sion Warragul by three wickets, on the 2^nd last ball of the day on October 24th at Traralgon.

A competitive total of 134 was setup by Lakshay Singh (28), Seb Pendergast (20 off 10) and Jake Pendrick (16), but unfortunately, we let far too many extras go through in our bowling innings. Lakshay backed up with the ball, claiming 2/12 off his four overs, while Seb, Ethan Aurisch and Brad Nikolajew were also amongst the wicket-takers.

The side have performed well across their campaign, and it was a great contest against our Marist rivals.
