Marist Sport

Catholic College Sale participates in the Marist Carnivals in Netball, Cricket and Basketball each year. These Carnivals are held all over Australia. Selection for Marist sport teams is a rigorous one involving numerous tryouts. It is a great privilege to compete and represent the College at this level.

The concept of the Marist Sporting Carnival stretches back many decades and was originally introduced to expose students to the wider Marist community, help them remove school or state blinkers and see there are schools and students just like them with the same ideals and background, steeped in the same Marist spirit and tradition. These Carnivals provide an opportunity for students, staff and families to make friends across the nation and compete in their chosen sport at a high level. The Marist Carnivals continue to expand each year with the addition of more Marist schools.
