Marist Netball
Our netballers participated in the 24th Annual Marist Netball Carnival from the 24th to the 27th of June. This year’s tournament was being hosted by Marist-Sion College Warragul. Our girls went through the early rounds undefeated, unfortunately going down by 4 in the Grand Final in extra time to St. John’s College. Three of our team members made the All Australian team, Emma Allman, Jas Schellen and Hayley Castle. Alex Stephenson made the ‘Highly Recommended’ team. Emma Allman was named ‘Most Wanted Player’ of the Carnival.

Olivia Barnett was named our Player of the Day for Day Two. We have now qualified as the Number One Seed for the Championship Semi Finals today. Our game kicks off against Notre Dame Shepparton at 9.30am. Sacred Heart Adelaide will play St Johns Woodlawn in the other Semi-Final with the winners facing off in the Carnival Grand Final at 12.30pm.

Emma Allman, Jas Schellen and Hayley Castle all made the All Australian team. Alex Stephenson made the “Highly Recommended” team. Emma Allman was named the Carnival ‘Most Wanted Player’. Player of Day Three for Catholic College Sale was Alex Stephenson.
