A great effort from our cricketers to finish third overall. In other pleasing news, Seb Pendergast was selected in the Marist XI following his efforts for the week. Seb’s main work was achieved as a first or second-change bowler, with the following outputs for each match:

Vs Assumption 1/15 off 4 overs
Vs St. John’s 2/14 off 5 overs
Vs Bunbury 2/15 off 5 overs
Vs Newman 4/22 off 8.3 overs

Seb finished with nine wickets for the Carnival (5^th most) at an average of 8.56; strike rate of 19.00 and economy rate of 2.7 runs per over. It is a fantastic effort for a debutant player.
