CCS Senior Production – ‘Mac and Cheese’
Catholic College Sale is about to debut a student-written musical, ‘Mac & Cheese’. This show features the talents of the College’s students from Years 9 to 12, and will be performed at the Wedge on Tuesday May 28th at 7.30pm and on Wednesday May 29th at 5.30pm.
Director Ann Roffe is immensely proud of the initiative of the authors, Emily Fraser and Chloe Nash, and of the talent and hard work of the students bringing the show to life: “This script and the music is of an extraordinarily high standard. The show is well structured, entertaining and deals with the classic teenage issues of friendship and loyalty.”
A battle of the bands provides the structure for this production and provides scope for the talents of students to be displayed. Classic classroom antics provide wonderful scope for scripted mayhem and the ambitious but loving mother coupled with the annoying little sister are a perfect foil for the friendship journey of the two main characters.
