CCS Runners up at Marist Netball 2023!
DAY 1:
Day 1 was a wonderful opening day for our Marist Netballers, who went through undefeated from their six games. Highlights included tough wins against Lavalla Catholic College and Assumption College Kilmore. CCS finds itself 2nd on the ladder after Sacred Heart Adelaide also went through without loss.

Kate van der Voort was named our Player of the Day, for her excellent and consistent work at Goal Defence.
DAY 2:
Another impressive day for our Marist Netball team, winning six out of seven games to complete the round robin portion of the Carnival. Following their results (winning 11 out of 12 games), CCS qualified through to the semi finals against Lavalla Catholic College on Wednesday.

Kate Ronchi was named our Player of the Day.
DAY 3:
A win in the semi final against Lavalla saw us play off against Sacred Heart Adelaide in the grand final. A supremely valiant effort from our Marist Netballers, who came runners-up , 26-18. The match was played at a really high level, and the girls are to be commended for their conduct and efforts. At the final awards ceremony, CCS had SEVEN players make either the ‘All Australian’ or ‘Highly Recommended’ team.
All-Australian team: Kate van der Voort, Ash McDonough, Hannah Abdallah and Ciara Fitt.
Highly Recommended: Scarlett Morris, Millie Lamb and Kate Ronchi.
It truly has been a fantastic few days in Perth. Newman College staff have been so hospitable, and our girls have really represented us to a high standard.
