Care Packages
In an ever-changing year for all students, Catholic College Sale has taken an innovative approach to preparing for the upcoming exam period.
Without students on site, the usual preparation period required some thinking ‘outside the box’. This came in the form of the idea of a care package to be distributed to all students sitting the General Achievement Test (GAT) as well as the Senior VCAL students.
The care package, compiled by CCS Staff Kristine Morrison and Lindy Grant, consists of all the essential exam information, including GAT timetables and the 2020 VCE Exams Navigtor, as well as some treats and small gifts as a gesture of support in these unusual times.
Including the important paperwork, our care package is also made up of the following:
- Gift Voucher from the Hunting Ground
- Goldwell hair products from Khayaam Hair Salon
- Neutrogena Purifying Hydrogel Facial care mask from Cosmosis Sale
- Cookies from Spoon and Spatula
- KitKats
- Minties
We are very grateful to the generous support from local businesses for their donations. Ms Cindy Foat Assistant Principal said “We can always rely on the generosity and support of our wonderful local community a huge thank you for helping us support our students as they near the finish line!”
The GAT will be held Statewide on Wednesday 7 October and the packages were delivered to students over the school holiday period.
